What is Colorado Free Internet?
Colorado Free Internet started as a project about Network Neutrality at Naropa University in the Fall of 2008. In Elaina Verveer's "Community Organizing" class, we decided that a Public Service Announcement-style video and website would be the best way to promote Net Neutrality and galvanize others to share their voices.
Who Is Behind this Website?
Brett Gardali
Video Guru/Co-Founder
Brett is a third year student at Naropa University in Boulder, CO, with a background in film. He hopes to use the Internet and free forms of media to raise awareness of important issues such as Net Neutrality.
Shy Mukerjee
Web Guru/Co-Founder
Shy has been producing websites since he was 16 years old. He is currently pursuing a BA in Writing and Literature at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University. He loves independent media, and thinks that Net Neutrality is the only way individuals will continue to have a say in news, art, and culture.
